I was in the trades. I’d work on rooftops at 20 below zero with the wind howling. Sound at all familiar?
Between situations like this and others, my hands got pretty beat up. Regular glycerin based lotions would do nothing. Other ones labeled for ‘men’ were just normal lotions with patented scents. Not a whole lot worked.
After I got out of the trades I began working with my kid. She was making her own lotion bars. Her ingredients were pretty good, but I got this thought to make a lotion that really was just for guys, especially guys who worked with their hands. After a lot of trial and error, I came up with a lotion bar that I would have used every single day out in the field. No lie.
The Rugged Knuckles Lotion Bar contains simple, all natural ingredients in just the right amounts to moisturize your skin, then fill in and seal up the cracks in your fingers so they can heal up faster. It also doesn’t leave a greasy residue that will muck up your cell phone screen.
The bars look small, but believe me, one bar will last to almost two months with normal use (about 3 times a day).
I’ve created six different scents to choose from, made by adding essential oils. The kind of ‘healing’ oils your wife puts in one of those diffusers. Do the oils actually heal anything? No idea. But the lotion bar’s light scent smells good without being overpowering. And I bet she never put pine needle or juniper berry oil in that thing either.
